A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE NOT TO BE MISSED

    “Primordial Sounds”
    DHRUPAD with Gundecha Brothers

“ONE WORD FOR ALL, BLISSFUL, OM SHANTI!”

    – A COMMENT FROM PREVIOUS CONCERT

Ayurvedic texts convey that the ‘source’ of all that exists in the universe was pure consciousness that had the will to manifest itself through the vibrational intention of primordial sound, mantra and language. Everything in the universe is in a flux of vibration or resonance. Naad Yoga is the yoga of sound. All experience has a sound whether one can hear or not; being conscious of that sound within ourselves enables us to shape our experience. Gundecha Brothers are the most famous exponents of Dhrupad style of singing, an art that represents the essentials of Naad Yoga. This music, which can be traced back several millennia to the vedic period in India, transports the singers as well as the listeners to an enhanced state of consciousness. This concert is highly recommended for all practitioners of yoga, meditation and classical music.
