    McDonald’s localizes in Each Country
    ~ In India, McDonald’s is Indianized ~

In Germany McCafes were pretty stylish with macchiatos, espressos and small, attractive cakes and tarts. In Argentina almost  every menu item seemed to also have a slice of ham in it somewhere.
In India McDonald’s are Indianized. Serving no beef and pork, and its localized healthier menu targets India’s largest middle class rather than the lowest common denominator in North America. Thus it is considered a family restaurant, quality vise and service vise.
The employees join their hands and say ‘Namaste’ whenever you place your order!

Burgers and wraps are called McSpicy Chicken and McSpicy Paneer (paneer is the homemade cheese similar to cottage cheese). They are basically comprised of a spicy chicken or paneer patty, lettuce and mayonnaise. Very delicious with a slightly ‘premium’ feel to it that is hardly expected from a fast food chain.

Some McDonald’s serve Chicken Maharaja Mac, an equivalent of the Big Mac except it has 2 chicken patties, onions, tomatoes, and two slices of cheese. Umm, Decadent!

The fish burger is called Filet O’Fish. Quite tasty and best served with tartar sauce.

Then there is the ‘dollar menu’ equivalent with burgers like Chicken McGrill (a grilled minced chicken patty topped with green chutney and tomatoes – cosidered the best thing on the menu) and McAloo Tikki which is simply a potato and peas patty with a special sauce, lettuce and tomatoes.

Some McDonald’s outlets have air hockey and other games. They are very popular among high school and college-aged students. Overall, it is a good hangout spot.
