How practical is it for Liberals who hate Trump to have a mass exodus from the United States?

February 27, 2017 – It’s completely impractical. I dislike Trump as much as anyone but in order to leave any country another country has to accept you with a long term stay or permanent visa, a citizenship track and a work permit. If you’re someone with specialized skills that your target country lacks (most medical degrees, some engineering backgrounds, and things like that) or if you’re wealthy (most countries have a program where if you invest and bring $x million in assets you can get a visa and be on your way to citizenship) it’s easy to have another country accept you.
But that’s not most people so it’s tough for most people to get into another country. And no one wants to take a mass exodus of refugees as Americans can readily attest to. I don’t think many countries in the world would feel bad for Americans who want to get out en masse.
