Prime Minister of Canada on the results of the Newfoundland and Labrador election
November 30, 2015, Ottawa, Ontario – The Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, today issued the following statement on the results of the provincial election in Newfoundland and Labrador:
“Newfoundlanders and Labradorians have chosen to elect a majority government led by the Liberal Party of Newfoundland and Labrador.

“I believe that confronting our collective challenges can only be achieved by sitting down together and engaging in open dialogue, and I look forward to the opportunity to work with Premier-designate Ball.
